NDS iMANAGER Battery Management

iMANAGER

FOR MANAGING ALL YOUR ENERGY

Constant research and extensive experience gained with the Power Switch (Power Switch) and Energy Meter (Energy Meter) have led to the creation of iManager, which was fully designed and developed by NDS

iManager is an innovative system for all your battery management and relevant energy needs.

It offers the possibility of managing up to three batteries simultaneously or separately, even if they are different in technology and amperage, thereby improving their efficiency and achieving a longer service life thanks to the automatic battery shutdown function.

The iManager touch screen displays all available information about the charge level of the batteries and the possible applications, and makes it possible to manually activate or deactivate batteries by touching once for more user-tailored management.

iManager continuously monitors the voltage of its own two batteries, taking into account the charging and discharging currents, makes decisions and automatically selects the battery to be used, and ensures that the charge level remains the same, thus improving the performance of the battery.

One of the most remarkable of the many functions of this system is the automatic battery shutdown, which is activated under three different conditions:

  • when the voltage of one or both batteries is lower than the critical limit of 10.5 V
  • when the voltage of one or both batteries remains lower than 11 V for more than 15 minutes
  • when the temperature measured with one or both batteries is higher than the limit of 70 ° C

In this way reduced efficiency and irreparable damage are prevented.

iManager also has a specific motor battery output; when the system detects a charging source (mains charger or solar panel) for service batteries and it is fully charged, it sends a current of max. 4 A to the motor battery to keep it charged and to prevent unpleasant surprises after prolonged downtime.

Using the touch screen you can communicate with the system and view information such as the charge level of the batteries.
